We’re employment lawyers.

We give robust, highly strategic advice. WestmoreJacobs® does the hard stuff others can’t.

At its simplest, WestmoreJacobs offer employers two things – litigation services and legal advisory services. Both relate to former or current employees.

With our recent merger with Velocity Legal, the combined team now boasts expertise across commercial law, tax, property, litigation, intellectual property and estate planning.

“I am a director of an accounting firm in the city and we had a staffing issue that we were unsure on how to handle. Adam and the team at Westmore Jacobs took our brief quickly, dealt with our issues and gave proactive advice in non legal speak that made a potential tricky issue into an easy to
handle situation. He [gave] advice in a way that saved us time and fees.”

“[Adam’s] legal advice and…step-by-step approach guided me through the process and
put me at ease that I was maintaining compliance with workplace law. This served to make a stressful and very distracting process significantly less so, allowing me to maintain focus on the management of my business and staff.

What I had not expected was [Adam’s] more personal insight into the difficult conversations that were required… I could not be happier with the value that [Adam] provided to my business, and would have no hesitation in recommending

Fees – you’re in charge “We want you in charge of what we charge”

Our goal is to make sure you’re in charge. This means telling you what we think the matter will cost before doing the work. It also means discussing with you options to potentially resolve your problem which may save you money in the long run.

We can charge on an hourly rate, an agreed fixed price, or on retainer basis. As we believe in challenging the status quo, we are open to discussing other fee models too such as a blended approach.

You can meet with us face to face or via telephone for an initial chat about your workplace issue.
